The Sham And Politics Of Trump Talk

The Sham And Politics Of Trump Talk

The random and unsympathetic seeming wordplay Donald Trump uses to reach his crowds, in fact, is not random at all. Most of the clichés he uses might sound original but they are actually stolen from past world leaders and dictators, and updated to meet modern times in a more perverse way — a way in which he is able to pull low wage earning communities of people away from logic and reason and into a world where they are lied to and fed broken promises of prosperity.

His make america great again ballyhoo is actually a spin on Adolph Hitler’s make Germany great again rally cry. His Donroe doctrine law he tried creating to constitute a new foreign policy in the Western Hemisphere was peeled from former president James Monroe’s “Monroe Doctrine” which opposed European intervention in the Western Hemisphere and became a significant aspect of U.S. foreign policy.

This usage of unscripted and reactive buzz words, catch phrases and acronyms is a technique some scholars on cults call bloated language, a phrase coined in the 1960s by psychiatrist Robert J. Lifton.

One objective for using bloated language is to produce reflexive feelings of hate, anger, or patriotism in a following by attaching a strong emotional charge to overused, easy to remember and easy to repeat (new or old) thought-terminating sayings. Names like sleepy Joe, Comrade Kamala, Cocaine Mitch, crooked Hillary and shifty Schiff are examples of Trump using bloated language to separate voters away from any publicly known politicians that see him for who he really is, a conman.

The second objective is aimed at reaffirming the master’s supreme status by shutting down all independent thinking and questioning a follower may have that might result in them pushing back against any bait and switch tactics that expose their master’s true intentions.

MAGA and their media platforms understand how to weaponize language and are doing so religiously, which makes them more dangerous than they pretend. Even though Trump’s entire administration know he is a fraud, their lust for wielding power in places they are unqualified to hold far exceeds their interest in what is true or false. They have finessed the art of taking highly questionable or violent truths and passing them off as acceptable, or morally righteous, so as to make followers act in a way they may otherwise not. Rightfully so they are just as fraudulent, if not more.

When I say followers, I’m not merely speaking on everyday people of the working class that voted for him. These abnormal behaviors extend to diehard MAGA heathens within his cabinet, conservative media and those whose wealth and powers connect them to him in quid pro quo fashion. The evidence is in the fact that these individuals question nothing, have completely lost touch with reality and are simply using the media to promote every truth and position Trump takes, even when the truths are routinely debunked, the positions are contradicting, and the former and latter vacillate.

If the shoe was on the other foot and ICE agents were ruthlessly killing citizens during Joe Biden’s presidency, would Kristi Noem or any Republican have falsely accused citizens of being domestic terrorists, or justified their murders through lies on national TV? Of course not. Had actors with bad intentions stormed the Capitol accusing Trump of rigging an election, would the Republicans give it the cold shoulder like they did the January 6 insurrection? No.

This longstanding rift between the Republican and Democrat parties is more self inflicted and mutual than it is a product of administrative incompetence. These are two mobs jockeying for absolute world control. It is all about what one side can say or do to wrestle power and control away from the other side, which is often advanced through extortion, lies, deceit, bribes and murder.

An individual within the Republican or Democrat party don’t have to actually go out and physically kill an innocent person to give this argument weight. It is bad enough that they are weaponizing the murders of people like Charlie Kirk, Renee Good and Alex Pretti against one another for the sole purpose of gaining a political advantage, regardless if the rhetoric spewed is cosmetic or empty calories. This shows what little value they put on a human’s life and the payout they expect to earn through death. The point is to repress success and direct all attention to one’s failure, which sabotages any endeavors to advance the working class.

The sham in Trump talk is apparent each time he opens his loud mouth, but merely lying and breaking promises he made to his own base isn’t enough to break MAGA into pieces. For one, Trump is MAGA and he used his first 100 days celebration, state of the union address, inauguration speech and breaking news rants to get affirmation from within that this is so. Second, his MAGA followers are like layers of an onion that slowly peel away as he shifts from serving the specific interest that drew them in and gave the base its cohesiveness. Examples include Marjorie Taylor Green, far right MAGA maniac and 2020 election denier, Joe Kent who later resigned as the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, and white supremacist conspiracy theorist Candace Owens.

In a twist of irony, new layers on the onion form as these shifts temporarily lure in those supporting his new stance — a cult-like revolving door for the misguided and opportunistic that begins and ends with Trump.

While he is playing checkers and simply taking each piece in front of him, many in the world are playing chess and gradually uniting against the U.S. and its closest ally Israel. If you think that Trump’s threats against Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz during full fledged war, or calling other countries cowards for not helping fix what he broke, is intimidating at this point — think again. Iran has shown it is going the distance at the cost of self-decimation, Trump is the only one still yapping during the war and playing let’s make a deal. What he hasn’t learned is that his mouth will only take him so far.

On top of all this he has gone completely insane. Not only has he lifted oil sanctions on a hostile nation in Russia, now he’s done the same for Iran, which helps finance their own fight by netting them a revenue of $14 billion dollars, while still choking oil from entering a non-hostile, self-determination-seeking Cuba. He can’t clearly explain the point of the war, is seeking $200 billion of tax payer money from Congress to fund his ground invasion to steal oil (which may have begun before this is posted) and has left members of his cabinet with the daunting task of trying to explain his actions that can’t be comprehended or rationally explained.

One of the biggest mistakes he made was allowing momentum to build through the ease in his first bombing of Iran, shaking down universities, law offices, the media and Venezuela, which led him into underestimating the resiliency of Iran. One of his strong points is understanding that the law wasn’t created to prevent people from committing crimes, but designed to arbitrarily protect the powerful and punish those in a specific class if they are caught doing so.
